Mercy was officially selected at 29 film festivals, nominated for 15 awards and won the Prix du jury Paris XII for Best Foreign Film at the Créteil Film Festival (Paris), the Ascent Media Award for Best Short Film at the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival (London) and a Jury Special Mention for the Unicef UK Award at Showcomotion (Sheffield).

Ever dreamt you could fly?

 

Remember when you believed anything was possible? For one young boy dreams of flight come to life when a bird he draws comes alive in front of him. Believing he too can spread his wings, he raids his piggy bank and every other place in his home for money to buy the things he’ll need. But can he make it equipped only with balloons and string? We find out when he cycles to the cliff tops.
